SET

The SET command sets the parameter to the value you specify.

Format:

SET {parameter} {value}

Parameters:

BFLAG Sets the default R5 boot flags. The value must be a hexadecimal

number of up to eight digits.

BOOT Sets the default boot device. The value must be a valid device

name or list of device names as specified in the BOOT

command description.

HALT Sets the user-defined halt action. Acceptable values are the

keywords "default", "restart", "reboot", "halt", "restart_reboot",

or a number in the range 0 to 4 inclusive.

LANGUAGE Sets the console language and keyboard type. If the current

console terminal does not support the multinational character

set (MCS), then this command has no effect and the console

message is displayed in English. Values are 1 to 15, as follows:

• 1 -- Dansk

• 2 -- Deutsch (Deutschland/Österreich)

• 3 -- Deutsch (Schweiz)

• 4 -- English (United Kingdom)

• 5 -- English (United States/Canada)

• 6 -- Español

• 7 -- Français (Canada)

• 8 -- Français (France/Belgique)

• 9 -- Français (Suisse)

• 10 -- Italiano

• 11 -- Nederlands

• 12 -- Norsk
