Invertersaresuppliedwithagroundingterminal.ConnectaninsulatedAWG12wire
to this terminal and connect the other end to asolid electrical ground. This is an
important safety wire that ensures proper grounding. DO NOT CONNECT THIS
WIREDIRECTLY TOTHENEGATIVEDCINPUT TERMINAL OFTHEINVERTER,
orBattery.
Atfull1500wattload,theDCinputrequirementsareupto150amperesat12volts
DC. For most continuous-duty applications, multiple batteryconfiguration and the
useofdeep-cyclebatteriesisarequirement.Withvehiclesusingmultiplebatteries,
inverters should be operated from one of the vehicles 12 volt batteries,
sothere'salwaysonebatterywithadequatechargetostartanengine.
LOCATIONCAUTIONS:
Toavoidpossibledangerousconditions,theinvertersmustbelocatedwhere:
1. Theunitiskeptdry.
2. Airtemperatureisbetween30degreeF(-1degreeC)non-condensing,
and105degreesF(40degreesC).
3. Atleastthreeinchesofclearancefromotherobjectsismaintainedfor
coolingairflow.
4. Theunitisnotexposedtodirectheatorsunlightortoexplosiveor
flammablefumes.
5. TheunitisasclosetotheDCpowersourceaspossible.
